There’s often a very critical part of training most people overlook. Yet, it’s by far the most important.

Training, running, and exercise are often considered overwhelming tasks required to maintain a healthy lifestyle or a certain type of body. While true, this perspective misses and tarnishes the real benefits: the confidence.

There is something deeply satisfying, rewarding, and tangible about doing something hard, even when you don’t want to. That feeling of triumph over a task you once thought was insurmountable is a source of immense pride and satisfaction. The mental fortitude you gain from pushing through a tough workout, especially when you’re exhausted, is a testament to your inner strength and resilience. There’s nothing that compares to it.

I had never previously found the benefits because I had never pushed myself to the limit. My idea of hard work was to touch the goalpost and think I had won.
But the truth is, it’s about doing it repeatedly until it becomes so instilled and part of who you are that you don’t know any different. You are simply someone who does the hard stuff.
